KS1 & KS2

KS1 and KS2 refers to students in the early and later stages of their primary school education. This includes Years 1,2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 where typically kids are aged 5-11. These years are the building blocks to their SATS. A nervy thing for young kids, however with good support from you and The Maths Lab, we can assure they are relaxed, happy, and ultimately reaching their full potential. 

KS3

At this stage your child would be in the early stages of their secondary school education. This includes Years 7, 8 and 9 and typically students are aged between 11-15. It is crucial to have a strong foundation in maths inKS3 as these are the years that build up to GCSE exams. KS4 - GCSE

GCSE is also known as KS4 and these years are comprised of years 10 and 11. Here you will sit your exams ready to apply for College or Sixth Form. These particular qualifications are often (not always) the only real indication Colleges or Sixth Forms have of a students academic abilities. Mathematics is a compulsory subject meaning all 16+ education institutions in the UK require a pass (Band 4) or higher. KS5 - A Levels

A-Level is a College or Sixthfrom leaving qualification. With mathematics being one of the most important subjects to learn at this level it will open doors to a variety of University courses and degrees.
